I prefer ThinkorSwim. They don't charge commission fees. It's beginner friendly. Set up is easy and you can trade from you phone.

How much money do I need to get started?

That's a very personal question that may vary depending on your goals. I recommend starting with an amount you aren't afraid of losing. That removes some of the emotions that could hinder you from learning.

How do I get started?
